The project was accepted as part of the Clean Baltic Sea project portfolio in October 2009.
Currently, the information to be transmitted to the oil tankers is being determined and new navigation practices are being created.
The aim is to start phasing in the ENSI service in the Gulf of Finland during 2013. At this point, the vessels will be able to send in their route plans and receive navigational support in return.
